Two suspects on the run in robbery at Zip Trip

SPOKANE, Wash.  - A Spokane Zip Trip at E. Illinois and N. Perry Place was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning. Spokane Police tell us that the robbery took place around 3:30am. 

Two suspects, a man and a woman entered the convenient store with a gun. The male suspect is described as 6ft tall, possibly Native American, heavier build, wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

 The female suspect is describes as 5'6," really thin build, wearing a light colored jacket and blue jeans. Both suspects were last seen running North on surveillance video in the 2200 block of N. Center Street. 

Authorities say the suspects got away with cash and some merchandise. The Zip Trip was closed for a short time following the robbery but has since reopened.
