Alleged Spokane pimp arrested for human trafficking, prostitution

It could have happened to anybody's daughter. Two teens, lured into a life of sex-for-money through social media, according to court documents.

The 59-page affidavit is difficult to read, but it begins with the simplest of approaches. A message over social media, inviting the target, a 17-year old girl, to make some money.  From there, the alleged pimp controlled every aspect of the girls lives, even the place they stayed was conditional on a "sex-for-rent" agreement.

Court documents go into detail about the victim being pimped out across state lines. The victim told police she was "brainwashed" by her alleged pimp, identified in the report as Pierre Jamel Davis.

From there, police say Davis used social media apps and illicit websites posting the underage girls posed in skimpy clothes to attract men. Court documents say Davis controlled the online accounts, seeing who would text and call to meet up.

Detectives were able to track down Davis using the websites and cell phones. What makes this even more troubling is that the victim's mother told Spokane police that her daughter was being "groomed" by an adult male mental health counselor in Coeur d'Alene.

That man was arrested on another charge in a separate investigation.

Davis is currently charged with 2nd degree trafficking and a slew of other charges related to prostitution.
